Terms of Use

1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FocusFlow mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Fatih Çolak, an individual developer based in Istanbul, Türkiye. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
FocusFlow is a focus and productivity tool that offers timers, task planning, AI-assisted task splitting, focus statistics, audio soundscapes, virtual rewards, and live co-working rooms. The Service is provided for personal productivity purposes.
FocusFlow is not a medical product. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent ADHD or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have concerns about your health, consult a qualified professional.
3. Accounts
- The Service works in guest mode without registration. Guest data may be lost if you lose or reset your device before linking an account.
- You may link a permanent account with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your region) to use the Service on your own. The one exception is Family Mode: a younger child may use FocusFlow on a device that a parent or legal guardian has paired with their own account. The guardian is responsible for that pairing, for the app selection made on the child's device, and for the child's use of the Service; see the Privacy Policy's "Children and Family Mode" section for what this involves.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
- FocusFlow PRO is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The annual plan may include a 7-day free trial.
- Payment is charged to your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via your store's subscription settings.
- Prices are set and localized by the stores and may change; changes apply to future renewal periods.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies.
5. Virtual items
XP, Focus Coins, badges, and similar virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and may be adjusted, rebalanced, or reset to protect the integrity of the Service (for example, in cases of abuse). Rewards you configure in the "Dopamine Bank" are personal reminders you fulfil yourself; we do not provide physical goods.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service unlawfully, or in a way that harms other users or the Service.
- In co-working rooms, do not post abusive, harassing, or illegal content. We may remove content or restrict access to protect other users.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the Service, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or abuse fair-use limits (including the AI task-splitting quota).
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create (tasks, notes, brain-dump entries). You grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely to operate the Service. Live room chat is transient and not permanently stored.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, audio content, and software, is protected by intellectual-property rights and remains our property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights other than the personal, non-transferable right to use the app.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (especially free features and experimental capabilities) at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of network-dependent features such as sync and co-working rooms.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in-app. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (5, 7, 8, 10, 12) survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country where you reside. Disputes are subject to the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye, where permissible.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
